The earth draws in the beautiful things from the vast land,
the wind, the sun, the dew, the fruits, the fragrances of flowers and fruits - combining to create a unique flavor.
The seven elements contained in the earth are all composed of the essence of plants and minerals,
with 60% of it being dominated by western red cedar as the main structure,
also hoping to possess a fresh and vibrant vitality that cannot be presented by ordinary citrus scents on the market,
creating a new citrus scent called TERRE, which means “everything is born from here”.

When the perfumer JEAN CLAUDE ELLENA, inspired by wine,
felt the sensory immersion and understood how grapes transformed into wine,
sharing the emotions of the earth and the passing years with humanity,
he spent a year walking through vineyards, touching the soil to experience its origin as the source of all things;
while passing through the wine cellar, he sensed the dust evolving into living elements within the wine bottles,
thus, when uncorked, the fragrance of the wine resembled perfume, like emotions alive in the air.
And thus, he created Terre d’Hermes, which embodies a whole new concept of the earth.

WOODY SPICY

The perfumer JEAN CLAUDE ELLENA originally wanted to create a fragrance that is animal-free,

without musk, and compatible with the skin, reflecting the essence of human nature and personality.

Top Note

Orange, Grapefruit

Using natural ingredients, the fragrance features lively notes of grapefruit, sweet pepper, and pink peppercorn.

Middle Note

Pepper, Geranium, Flint

Beyond the noble scent of geranium and the resilient presence of cedar,

 a versatile atmosphere is crafted. Lamenting the lack of a mineral scent in the world,

the fragrance is remembered through repeated touches and strikes of flint,

akin to composing a musical score in the mind, thus creating a mineral scent that had never existed before.

Base Note

Vetiver, Siberian Fir, Clary Sage, Frankincense

In the base notes, this distinctive spiciness is engulfed by a soothing,

faint milky scent, giving way to the resolute character born from the fusion of cedar,

geranium, and vetiver. "Earth," the very name evokes a sense of broad embrace and tolerance.
